Europe's first meta-universe-themed exchange-traded fund (ETF), the ETC Group Global Metaverse UCITS ETF (METR), has been added to the London Stock Exchange. The ETF will track the Solactive ETC Group Global Index, which offers access to 51 companies in the metaverse industry, the release said.
The companies represented in the index are in the areas of virtual, augmented reality, 3d graphics, semiconductors, wireless communications, online gaming, streaming video, blockchain technology, including NFT, and related cloud storage.
